Summer Dance Camps ages 3-7

We have 3 fun dance camps for our mini's! Ages 3-6 with dance, singing, crafts, tumbling, and more. They are 4 days a week Monday through Thursday. Each camp session is 2 weeks long. All summer camps go from 9:30am-11:30am.  Check them out by clicking below. 

Session 1: Princess and Prince Fairy Tale Camp June 21 through July 1.

Junior/Preteen Summer Dance  Intensive 

Ages 8-12

Two 3 week Intensives! Super fantastic Intensives with beginner and Intermediate classes for your Junior or Pre-Teen Dancer. May include classes such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro/Tumbling, Contemporary/Modern, HipHop, Jazz and more. They will also get to make a cool dance craft to bring home each week. Come get immersed in dance and trial many genres of dance.  Drop in classes and zoom classes will be available for some of these classes. 

Session 1: Broadway and Disney Musical Theater Intensive-  June 21 through July 9th. Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Senior Intensives Ages 12-18

Senior Intensives Ages 12-18

The Senior Summer Intensive is broken up into two, 3 week courses. With option to take 3 weeks or 6 weeks of dance. If in Dance company you must attend the summer program so that you don't loose any technique over the summer. Summer camps and Intensives are a chance to get ahead while you aren't busy with school activities.  Dance classes may include Ballet, Musical Theater voice Group voice lessons, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Choreography, Variation class, Pre-pointe, Pointe, PBT/Strengthening/ Conditioning, Stretch Class, Tap, Acro, and more. Your child will have the opportunity to work with guest choreographers and hone their skills. They will also be learning musical theater songs and practicing the art of singing/ dancing together. The parent showing on the last day of class will include a student showcase and showcase of summer choreography by various teachers. Ballet skirt or costume for the last day of class performance is included in the price as well as any props or crafts. The performance will be in person and also available via zoom.

Placement: Please notify us via chat or email if wanting to go to pointe or pre-pointe , but never have been on pointe before. You must attend ballet twice a week to be in pointe class and you must have a pre-pointe assessment at the studio prior to intensive if wanting to take pre-pointe class. Please identify if you are an advanced or intermediate dance in your registration form. Please note if you are advanced in Jazz for example and beginning ballet or Intermediate. We will place you in the correct class after the first day. It is possible if a junior student is advanced to take pre-pointe at age 11 and advance to senior classes.

    

Session 1: Dance & Voice Boot Camp-June 21-July 9th

Time: 5-9pm T,W, TH and Friday 8am-12pm

 

this session is to improve your child's dance and helps them learn how to sing or improve their singing. (Kids don't sing in the parent showing, only dance for this session.)

Session 2: Broadway Stars Summer Camp- July12th though July 30th

Time: Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday 5-9pm, Friday 8-12pm. 

 

 

 

REGISTRATION

Price: You can do drop in classes with drop in class pricing, which will be $12 a class for adults and senior intensive classes only.  Drop in classes will not be available for choreography classes or arts/crafts. 

 

Cost:

Mini Camps:

    Session 1: $150

    Session 2: $150

    Session 3: $150

Junior Intensives:

     Session 1: $375

      Session 2:$375

Senior Intensive:  $800 for full tuition of both sessions including costume

                               $400 for 1 session. Deposit of $100 must be paid in order to hold your spot and should be paid by May 15th, 2021 for the first session and May 30th for the second session. This also allows us to order any costumes on time.

 Step 1: You must fill out the summer liability/release form below to register for all Summer Intensives and Camps.

 

Step 2. Then you must either make a deposit online by clicking on the link below, cash or check payment in person at the studio. You can also pay via venmo @Alicia-Manica. Registration isn't complete till payment is made. Full payment is due to prior to start date to avoid a late fee. You may also choose to pay in full online.

 Alicia is the director of Stunning Dance Studio and has been teach dance and acro for 15 years. She is a former member of Crazefaze Hip Hop Crew in Massachusetts and was a former competition judge in the North Eastern States. 

   Alicia graduated from Berkshire Community College with an Associates in Science; Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. She has been practicing as a licensed PTA for 8 years now. 

  She most recently graduated in 2019 from the  modern dance program at the University of Utah, School of Dance. She has spent this last summer as Intern/Program Assistant for AXIS Dance Company in Oakland, California. Throughout her time at the University of Utah, Alicia has worked with the faculty in residency and performed in Jackie Lopez’s house hip hop piece called, “Warriors of Light,” as a member of the Performing Dance Company. She performed in the Modern Senior Concert under work by Lauren Edson and showcased her own work, “Paths least traveled,” which incorporated dancers of all abilities. 

Amanda Robison is a graduate of Southern Utah University, where she received a bachelor's of music education with an emphasis in choral education. While there, she participated in a number of choral and instrumental ensembles, as well as two operas. She has been teaching music privately since 2012, both individually and for ensembles. She has performed three seasons with the Salt Lake Choral Artists under the direction of Brady Allred, and three shows with the Empress Theater: Urinetown, She Loves Me, and the Hunchback of Notre Dame as music director. She has also performed in three music reviews with Taylorsville City, and has recently enjoyed performing with her ukulele at a local care center on multiple occasions. She has two kids, one husband, one dog, one cat, one chinchilla, and has to vacuum literally every day.

Hunter Hazard is a Salt Lake based artist with a passion for staying curious. In the last 6 months he graduated from the University of Utah's modern dance program, completed an 8 week residency with Kearns High School Dance Company, and rounded out his first year with Oquirrh West Project (a locally based professional dance company). Hunter is a former company member with the Denver based modern dance troupe, Hannah Kahn Dance Company (2015-2017), and has taken part in countless academic projects.
