Service Description

This is a beginner ballet class for ages 6-11, but could be younger with instructors permission. Level 1 is a progression of the Beginning Ballet class, where we will work on steps learned in Beginner Ballet with harder combinations and sequences. They will learn skills of counting, spacing, beginning ballet barre sequences such as tendu, degages, and plies. They will develop the ability to alternate legs for skills learned in beginner ballet such as chasse and more. They will begin pirouettes, channes, and pique turns across the floor. They will learn beginner ballet stretches, and more! Ballet is amazing for helping to form good posture and the correct technique/balance necessary for all other forms of dance. Dress code: Leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair: In bun and if short, pulled back neatly in pony tail.
